Associate Board
Building momentum along several empowerment movements, San Franciscans are looking for meaningful ways to get involved or give back. Our Associate Board does just that. We are a group of emerging leaders who dedicate their time, talents, networks and resources to raise awareness of and advance the mission of Children’s Council of San Francisco.

Goals
The Associate Board’s three main goals are meant to support the Children’s Council mission to advance affordable, quality child care in San Francisco:
- Involve dynamic, passionate, and skilled individuals to spearhead quality child care awareness
- Support Children’s Council mission and efforts by actively participating in and coordinating events and fundraisers
- Develop a pipeline for future leadership of Children’s Council
Membership Responsibilities
- Raise awareness of Children’s Council and its mission to your networks
- Individual Give/Get commitment of $200 per year, suggested split as follows:
- Give (Donate) $100
- Get (Fundraise) $100
- Attend at least 75% of Associate Board meetings each year (meetings are quarterly)
- Attend and invite people from your networks to Children’s Council’s events, such as our annual fundraiser
- Recruitment of future Associate Board members
- Serve a term of 1 year (renewable)
