Children’s Council Celebrates 50th Anniversary in 2024

In 2024, Children’s Council of San Francisco celebrates 50 years of advocating for quality early care and education, empowering families with information and financial support, and building the capabilities of educators, to ensure that every child in San Francisco has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

To mark our anniversary, we have been telling the stories and celebrating the impact of our organization—of the movement we’ve grown together—that our founders Patty Siegel and Martha Roditti helped spark a half-century ago.

We have also been sharing the transformative work Children’s Council is doing right now, as well as our bold vision for a brighter, more inclusive future for our community.
