2024 City Kids Family Fair
The 2024 City Kids Family Fair, held Saturday, September 28 in the Mission, brought together more than 1,500 San Francisco kids, parents and community members to enjoy a beautiful sunny day of music, stories, activities and performances.
Thank you to all the families who attended this free outdoor community event!
We were also joined by city leaders including State Senator Scott Wiener and Supervisors Dean Preston (D5), Rafael Mandelman (D8) and Myrna Melgard (D7) as well as Jenny Lam of the San Francisco Department of Early Childhood.
Kids & their families enjoyed many fun activities, including:
- Lion Dance performance by Lion Dance Me
- Yoga & movement with It’s Yoga Kids
- Music, dance & storytime with JAMaROO Kids
- Bicycle lessons with San Francisco Bicycle Coalition
- Drumming and capoeira demonstration by ABADÁ-Capoeira San Francisco
- Huge, life-size bubbles from Bubblemania
- San Francisco Public Library Bookmobile with free books from the SF Children’s Book Project
- Games + creative activities by community partner organizations
- Photos and hugs with Elmo!
Plus, families went home with:
- Fresh produce
- Diapers
- Toys + prizes
- Many child care and child development resources!
