Early Learning for All Early Learning For All is the San Francisco Department of Early Childhood’s Initiative to provide free or discounted early care and education to San Francisco families with children ages 0-5 at over 500 high-quality programs in their funded network.
State Voucher The California Department of Social Services offers payment vouchers for eligible families to attend their preferred early education program for children ages 0-5 and out of school time programs for children ages 6-13.
State Funded Centers The California Department of Education funds child development programs to offer free or reduced-cost child care/preschool.

In-person at 170 Otis Street Service Center or at South East Workforce Development located at 1800 Oakdale Avenue Workforce Center in the second floor reception area. You do not need an appointment. In-person option may not be available due to COVID-19, please call-in advance.
More info: CalWORKs provides temporary assistance and support to families with (or expecting) children. CalWORKs recipients are eligible for a child care subsidy – along with cash assistance, food, employment assistance and health care coverage.
Apply directly at child care sites in the Preschool for All Network. Visit Children’s Council’s Child Care Finder and search for PFA sites by selecting the filter “Preschool for All”.
More info: Preschool for All offers free or reduced-price preschool to all 4-year-olds who live in San Francisco. Family income is not required.
