Family Workshops
In accordance with the latest Department of Public Health guidelines regarding COVID-19, Children’s Council has begun to offer some of our programs in person. However, many of our popular workshops for families are being presented virtually.
If you have questions, you may call or email the workshop organizer. Scroll down and click on the workshop in question, look for the workshop organizer’s name at the bottom of the page, then click “contact.”

Developmental Playgroups
Children’s Council invites families and their caregivers to participate together in a free playgroup for children aged birth to three years who have mild to moderate disabilities, learning differences and/or complex medical needs.
We understand that children learn best through play – these playgroups will ensure accessibility for all children to engage in developmentally appropriate, inclusive, sensory-based and hands-on learning activities. They will also offer parents and caregivers an opportunity to actively participate, supporting children’s development and well-being together.
To participate in our weekly playgroups, please sign up here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/66RS8R3?lang=en
Eventbrite registration is not required.
Playgroups are currently facilitated in English. All English language learners are welcome!
