Rehana Abbas
Rehana brings more than 15 years of nonprofit experience to her role as San Francisco Foundation’s Chief Philanthropy Officer. At the Foundation, she utilizes her expertise in fundraising and strategy to engage donors around the topic of deeply-rooted commitment to racial equity and economic inclusion. Her experience includes fundraising at the Oakland Museum of California, SFMOMA, UCSF, and the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco. She also volunteers as an IDEA Fellowship Mentor in support of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Golden Gate chapter’s program to recruit, retain and mentor diverse nonprofit professionals from the Bay Area.
As a San Francisco resident and mother to a young son, Rehana is passionate about the role of Early Childhood Education in our community.
Rehana has a BA from Wake Forest University and an MBA from the Yale School of Management.
