Born & raised in Chicago, Billy Gomberg joined Children’s Council of San Francisco in July 2022 and brings almost 20 years of experience in communications, design, events & exhibits, and most relevantly, early childhood and parenting to his role as Communications Manager.

Prior to moving to San Francisco, Billy was the Creative Services Manager at Rebecca School, a DIR/Floortime® school in New York City for students 3-21 with neurodevelopmental delays in relating and communicating. In addition to becoming an ICDL certified Basic Floortime Provider, he created yearbooks, video documentation, photography, occasionally some gluten free cookies, and took many trips to the playground and throughout the five boroughs. Other work experience in NYC encompassed public art projects, touring exhibits and technology-forward events.
