Erica Thorson earned her BS in Human Development with an emphasis in Child Development from UC Davis. Beginning her career as an early educator, she learned to embody the compassion and fortitude that she admired in other caregivers while working at Girls Inc. 

Erica brings over 23 years of experience in the child care voucher and case management field, she has supported staff in various roles over the past 15 years at Children’s Council.  Erica and her teams of managers and supportive service staff embody the “whole family, whole child” vision by offering various levels of wrap around services to families, children, and child care educators throughout the Child Care Family Services Department.
