Jonathan is a native San Franciscan and lifelong youth worker. He is a proud product of SFUSD and went on to obtain his degree in Economics at the University of California – San Diego. As a teen, he volunteered at the Chinatown Y and that is where his passion to working with families blossomed. He dedicated over 15 years of service to underserved youth and families in San Francisco. Before coming to Children’s Council, he worked at the Stonestown and Chinatown Y where he oversaw the largest summer camp, afterschool, and youth sports programs. His passion was to train and develop young staff to deliver high quality programming to the youth and families who needed it most. 

Now Jonathan works with the teams who advocate and support over 3,000 providers and educators to ensure they are equipped to support the youth and families in their community.
