Lily Sorrentino comes to Children’s Council with several years of experience working with families facing significant barriers from diverse backgrounds. Her work with children and families impacted by incarceration and Adverse Childhood Experiences informs her trauma informed approach to both personal and professional endeavors. Lily believes that people thrive when their needs are met and is proud to work on a team that strives to identify and meet those needs. Having been raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Lily is knowledgeable about and has deep love the community she works with.

Lily is passionate about abolition and has worked with organizations and coalitions across the country to increase the standard of care for people facing criminal charges. She spends her free time continuing to advocate for people that are incarcerated. Other free time is spent cooking and eating with loved ones and enjoying Bay Area sports. She accepts any and all restaurant recommendations.
