Margarita Spataro is a dedicated San Francisco native with over 18 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, focusing on youth and family services. Her extensive background includes roles in program administration and delivery with organizations such as Support for Families, the SF Education Fund, and Urban Services YMCA. Margarita is passionate about empowering individuals through technology, supporting families, and advocating for children with special needs and disabilities.
Margarita studied journalism at City College, where she developed her communication and advocacy skills, and has since served as a Communications Manager and Program Specialist. In addition to her professional experience, she has returned to school and is currently studying Early Childhood Education to further support her commitment to families and children.
Margarita is also a devoted mother of two school-age children, including a daughter with autism and other global delays. Her personal experiences fuel her passion for supporting families and driving positive change within the community. In her free time, Margarita enjoys spending quality time with her family and exploring the mountains on adventures up north.
