Rehana Abbas

Chair, Board of Directors

Rehana brings more than 15 years of nonprofit experience to her role as San Francisco Foundation’s Chief Philanthropy Officer. At SFF, she promotes effective, equitable philanthropy across the Bay Area by partnering with donors who are looking to make an impact with their giving. Before joining SFF, Rehana worked in fundraising at the Oakland Museum of California, SFMOMA, UCSF, and the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco.

As a San Francisco resident and mother to a young son, Rehana believes that access to Early Childhood Education is critical for families to thrive in our community.

Rehana has a BA from Wake Forest University and an MBA from the Yale School of Management.
